*EDIT* Most of the tactics displayed here are still valid in the new balance patch. The only differences in play style are using alt fire katana to ohko sirens/husks and alt fire axe to fight fleshpounds. Also, the lar jump glitch was fixed so watch that fall damage. I left in the patriarch fight because it went very well. And people say berserkers can't play on suicidal or they have to use xbow to be effective. Yeah, I'd say people who think that don't know how to play zerker properly. Zerker is fine even without using the xbow. If you are dying on suicidal, then you're doing something wrong. A perk is only as good as the player using it.
